Hermit Tobacco: Captain Earle's: TEN RUSSIANS 2oz

A great blend, a heavy English. I would definitely say this blend is on the heavier side of the spectrum with that being said it is still fairly smooth. It has a great smoky flavor. I get hints of florals on the retrohale.It comes in a nice crumble cake and I really like that for storage because you can easily fit 6 to 8 ounces of it in 16 ounce mason jar.

I’m of a mind that I can’t really come to grips with a blend until I have smoked at least a 8 oz. tin. I did enjoy this blend when I first opened it up and started smoking, but it began to win me over as I started to really discover its nuances. The Latakia is there for certain, but the other components give it an almost perfume delicacy that I find thoroughly satisfying. It seems to get better the more it sits around. After going back and forth to some of my other English blends it feels like leaving a porterhouse for lean ground beef. This is good stuff!

I love this stuff. It's so nice to sit and puff away the world's problems. As Ryder said, great with coffee or any fav drink really. For some reason it reminds me of Baked dinners when I was a kid. The whole room becomes a happy place as it fills with the smoke. If you like Latakia, this stuff is a dream. Regards, Kevin
