"National Plum Pudding Day, eh? Alright, the price came down... I'll bite. Let's see what all the hubbub is about."
Described as a crumble cake, but really, it's a tin of thick, broken flakes. Proper tin moisture, doesn't require much rubbing out. Leaves my fingers black & dusty.
The Latakia is in the front of this Balkan, but otherwise it's a very balanced blend. Don't let that fool you into thinking this has any strength, though. It's mild-to-medium strength all around: body, flavour, nic-hit. Not bad. It certainly tastes unique enough for a Balkan, but definitely light in the loafers. A great tobacco for practising your retrohale technique, 'cause it won't burn your nasal passage and provides the flavour you expect out of such an expensive tobacco.
Still strikes me as a hipster blend, i.e. mostly advertising and hype. But worth checking out once, anyway. I'll stick to the Balkan Sasieni.
