Gawith Hoggarth Bulk: BOSUN CUT PLUG

Great smoking tobacco. Great taste, a little soapy, but not so much that you can feel it in your nose. Complex medium-strong flavor and room note-it is not overwhelming. Perfect level of harshness, for me, that is, a little easier on the lungs than a birdseye and it won't burn your tongue or cheeks. Stays lit well, chews okay, with a pleasant flavor. If you like to roll tobacco, this is where bosun cut plug really shines. Take a pinch and leave it on the counter for an hour or two and it rolls and smokes beautifully. It's not safe to smoke a pipe while driving a semi-truck, so this is important to me, and this plug might be my new favorite. I'm going to be smoking a lot of this, I can tell.

Bosun Cut Plug by Gawith Hoggarth & Co. is a strong flavour bomb - high quality Virginia leaf with predominant Lakeland flavours. That said, this is great. I doubt you'll be disappointed. You need to rub it out and let it rest. Too moist and the beautiful flavourings predominate. This is a high class, spicy and strong smoke! With each bowl I fall more in love with the smoothness of the subdued clove notes which embrace the exceptional Virginia leaf. If you love Erinmore Flake you should love this, but be warned: it's a jealous mistress! I recommend purchasing Bosun Cut Plug and Gawith Hoggarth Rum Flake in bulk and letting both contend for your affection. Both are superb, each in their own way. I highly recommend Bosun Cut Plug. It's an experience in what Lakeland pipe tobacco can be.

You may add some boiling water to it, in order to savour a hot beverage, but don't try to smoke it, unless you're a fan of burned spices.
