A Lakeland flake in the best tradition, you do get a slight sense of soapiness as some would call it. That’s really the floral quality of typical Lakelands. It’s a dark broken flake, and it came moist, so it needed drying time for an enjoyable smoke. I found it flavorful and aromatic both in room note and aroma. This tobacco smoked all the way to the bottom of the bowl leaving a fine white ash. Some might find this blend to be strong in the nicotine department. This wonderful blend smokes wonderfully in all my Petersons (a match made in heaven). I can see this blend easily replacing St. Bruno Flake as my FAVORITE Brit blend!
