I have some excellent Pipes & excellent tobacco. This pipe fits right in. I love the way I can keep it clean & free from moisture during a smoke by unscrewing it from the base, dumping or wiping out any moisture, & then resuming the session. No dottle nonsense. This thing is a workhorse. I dropped this bowl on the cement from 5ft high by accident already & no marks were found. I use the international bent stem, & drool when I'm about to smoke, like a dog about to eat a steak. So, the dry smoke, even without any filters is super satisfying.
