CBP is the new blend in the Captain Black line. Mostly golden virginias mixed with burley, with a light vanilla/caramel topping. A liitle moist as it comes from the pouch; I let the mix dry for a day, before smoking.

A Good Smoke
I am smoking a pouch of this new Captain Black Platinum right now. Overall I have to say I am liking it a lot. This is much more tobacco forward of a taste then your usual Captain blends with quite good quality base tobaccos. The flavor is a mild maple and caramel that is noticeable in every puff but doesn't over power the tobacco taste. It came in the pouch at perfect moisture and smokes nice and dry to the heel with no goopiness. Overall it's a really excellent addition to the Captain Black lineup and I hope it stays around.
