Dark Plug is an intense tasting experience for those unaccustomed to full brown Virginia tobacco in its purest form. It is a plug, so premature aging is in effect from the pressing. This will give a strong mouth feel that is best sipped slowly, and not freight trained.
I received 125 grams in several 4.5 inch strips. I cut them into one inch squares for easier storage in my small mason jars. To prep, I commit heresy of the gravest sort by grinding a square in an electric coffee grinder.
This leaves me a fluffy & slightly moist grind that packs well into my bowl, and burns easily with little dottle remaining.
Nic hit can be a bit strong, so be advised and eat something ahead of time or enjoy a sweet tea with it as a palate cleanser. Take your time and enjoy it, it's a great smoke (plus it's a Virginia so it's gonna get hot).
