I was hoping this tobacco will be somewhat similar to Ennerdale Flake, and I was not disappointed. It's a beautiful, brownish yellow tobacco, with a very dominant smell of English roses. I did not get any hints of an actual tobacco smell, but if you like the typical soapy Lakeland flavour, you won't mind it at all. The flavour, however, is not as overwhelming as the smell. Given the condition that it's smoked slowly, it tastes slightly sweet and creamy. The rose flavour is of a very high quality, which matches the tobacco very well. If smoked faster, it tends to bite and develop a lot of moisture, so you really have to take your time for this extraordinary tobacco.
