A very nicely balanced flake - the famous Gawith Virginias melding with the Latakia in a proportion which I personally find to be spot on. The rum is certainly not a strong component of the overall impression, as is indicated in the tin note, present, but not forcefully so as in other rum blends. Hence it, the rum, seems to waft in and out of the first part of the bowl, however, if one is patient and gentle in this initial phase of the smoke they will be rewarded in the second half with that heavenly combination that rum, Latakia and Virginia make when treated carefully and allowed to meld together. Thick, rich clouds of smoke which delight the palate and infuse the soul with peace - all is well in the world (at least for the duration of this pipe!)
