The old-fashioned Burley taste comes through in full form, nutty and brisk, hitting on tangy notes along the way as the Virginia components catch on. There's not enough Latakia to provide any more than perhaps a seasoning effect.
I am an early pipe smoker from cigars and liked smoking mild tobaccos and thoudght I may give BHT a try. At 1st I was undecided because of tangy notes, but after awhile it wasn't too bad although it is a fast burning tobacco. Still sampling others.

A Fine Blend
The burleys really are the star of the show in this blend, with the virginias and Latakia backing up the performance. The retro-hale is warm and spicy.
