fermented, the result is a strong peppery/fig flavor. Because of this,
Perique is typically used only in small quantities in any given blend.Despite its own potent nature, in a blend, it will reduce tongue bite from Virginias.
As a complement its fantastic....gives deep in my personal blend...an afternoon prio one choise....

C&D Granulated Perique
I like to take straight Virginia flake tobacco and mix in perique to give it more oomph. The granulated version is easier to mix in than when it's presented in long strands.
