Abingdon is good. In fact Very Good and one of my top 3 tobacco's ever. The blend needed some drying out for me at least, so expect to give it some air. I aired my tin out for 2 hours which was sufficient. At first the taste might be a little bitter, but this goes away as the embers settle in and you smoke down a bit. It takes a couple of lights for me to get going, but once you do it is spectacular. Leathery, oily, a little sweet and then complexity capable of matching any of the Legendary tobaccoes you might have heard the old fools croon about. The taste stays interesting throughout the bowl but builds to a crescendo right before your pipe is done. In the final stage this tobacco comes in it's own and is tasty as... As... Aw heck... Nothing even compares. My woman's review: "What the heck is that smell? Is that rubber that is burning?" :D /J
