G.L. Pease: TRIPLE PLAY 2oz

Well, honestly I was a bit disappointed with this blend. I had high hopes because the tin I received had 7-1/2 years of age already on it! Wow - never experienced that before, so I was expecting the blend to be sweeter that it was after opening it. Besides the aging disappointment, this blend has some rough edges to it. The Kentucky seemed more prominent in the blend than the Virginias, and definitely delivers a nic-hit for me. Other than those factors,it smoked like most other VaPerKy blends. However, I would say this blend is definitely on the stronger side. I like it, but there is really nothing about it that compels me to buy it again.

The tin note is all fruit with a touch of salt - even my daughter was captivated by the scent. A beautiful plug that needs to be sliced and dried a little before fold, stuff and puff. I prefer to keep the slices intact to get the full interaction of ingredients - YMMV. LOTS of flavour from the different tobaccos in the blend and quite a bit of nicotine make this an ideal - and very tasty - after dinner or bedtime blend.
