I usually smoke Borkum Riff Cherry Cavendish and thought I'd try this tobacco as an alternative. I wasn't disappointed. This is a pleasant aromatic, and differs from my usual fair in the same way that red cherries and black cherries differ. BR Cherry Cav is a sweeter aromatic than TBC, but while not being as sweet, TBC is just as pleasant to smoke. If it wasn't for Australias ridiculous customs duties, I would order this tobacco in bulk and alternate between BR and TBC as the mood took me. I would recommend this tobacco to anyone who likes aromatics. It smokes cool, but seems to want to be dryed a little first, or a few re-lights will be required if you don't. Even though it looks to be wet, it feels dry to touch. Not sticky or goopey at all, but obviously my tin is still moist enough to warrant a little extra drying time. I will be seeing if this one is available locally, but I don't foresee that it would be as reasonably priced here. I may have to stick to just ordering the occassional tin as a treat for myself and my fellow pipe smoking friends.
