Peter Stokkebye: OPTIMUM

I used to smoke Optimum in its original form and this new version seems to lack some of the original condiments.
This still a mild and enjoyable smoke, being aromatic but in a more subtle form.
I wonder just how different it is from the original that was a little more distinct and , well, aromatic.

This blend is incredible, I will be ordering more. The main flavours I pick up are dark fruit with a slight hint of vanilla, it reminds me of cool autumn night after harvesting fruit! It’s sweet but not overly sweet like some aromatics I’ve had. I could smoke this daily and not get tired of it. I’ve been enjoying this as well as Natural Dutch Cavendish, both tobaccos are like day and night. With these two blends, my pallet is fully content with all the assortments of flavour I really want out of pipe tobacco!
