This is a solid red Virginia flake that has all the dark fruit notes, wine, brown sugar, dark flavors like cocoa, and an awesome aroma. That being said, it is very much red VA in every way, so don't expect a lot of complexity or change from the beginning to the end of the bowl. That is a good thing, and it is awesome for summer smoking, but it could go all year. It is a little higher than some blends, but consistently good if you are a VA smoker.
